Our turkeys are raised on pasture with movable electric netting, rather than moveable pens, to give them more space. As with my pastured chickens, it is necessary to feed grains.

For our vegetable garden we source seeds through SSE, Johnny’s Seeds, Territorial Seeds, and sometimes Baker Creek. We are not only non-gmo, but “beyond organic” in that we do not even use the OMRI approved weed and pest control substances.

We decided that we would like to grow fruits and veggies to make a living. We couldn’t think of anything better to do than to live off of the land. We don’t use any herbicides or pesticides on our fruits and veggies. We just put in a commercial kitchen so that we can provide baked and canned goods for the famer’s market and beyond. We are willing to cater to people’s special diets whether it is vegan, gluten free or something else, so if you have a special request, then please ask! 🙂
